Education
A school was built by the Swiss NGO "Action-Puits pour tous les Peuples". The school has 13 teachers for nursery and primary education who teach approximately 300 children. In addition to the children from the orphanage, there are also about 160 children from the immediate surrounding area who receive lessons for a very small contribution. There is both a French-language and an English-language section of 6 classes each for primary education, which is under the supervision of the Ministère de l'Éducation de base (Cameroun).

A typical classroom
In this context, AMI has provided school desks, chairs, blackboards and other school materials.
About ten young people attend secondary education at a vocational school in Yaoundé to become an electrician, welder or construction worker. One student from the orphanage is in her third year of medicine at the University of Yaoundé.
To continue to pay this medical student's study costs, we are looking for an additional sponsor.
